“Doki” is the sound of a heartbeat — Dokimoment preserves life’s most moving moments through music.
“Doki” comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia for a heartbeat. Like the flutter of a first encounter and the thrill of a promise made, Dokimoment uses music to capture life’s most meaningful heartbeat moments.
Our musicians are all music graduates with more than ten years of professional experience, and several have taken part in major productions including ViuTV and King Maker. We have performed at churches such as Bethanie and St. Andrew’s, luxury banquet venues including The Peninsula, W Hotel, Hyatt, Shangri-La, and Bethanie, exhibition spaces like the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and AsiaWorld-Expo, as well as government banquets. From classical elegance and romantic jazz to pop classics and modern arrangements, we reinterpret Cantonese, English, and Mandarin songs to craft a bespoke wedding song list for every couple. Whether through Chinese and Western instrumentation, ensemble line-ups, or solo performances, we bring professionalism and sensitivity so the music blends naturally into each important moment. We believe a wedding is not merely a banquet, but a symphonic poem of love — and every stage from the first heartbeat to walking together today deserves to be gently carried by melody, becoming a memory that makes you smile for years to come.

Woody Cheung | Piano / Keyboard
Woody graduated with a degree in Contemporary Music and Performance Education from The Education University of Hong Kong. He holds prestigious qualifications, including the Trinity College AMusTCL (Piano) and Rockschool Grade 8 in Drums. Specializing in both jazz piano and jazz drums, Woody has performed jazz music at various universities, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, AsiaWorld-Expo, and luxury hotels.
He later moved to Australia to further his music studies at Hillsong College, performing with his band at major festivals and celebratory events across the country. Since returning to Hong Kong, Woody has been highly active in performing at premier wedding banquets and teaching at various academic institutions. His students have achieved outstanding success, winning numerous awards, including the Gold Award at the International Aegean Music Competition and the Championship at the Victoria International Piano Competition.

Cheris Ho — Pianist & Flutist
Cheris completed a Master of Arts in Music at The Chinese University of Hong Kong after earning first-class honours in the Bachelor of Music in Education. She blends classical refinement with contemporary arrangements for elegant events.
Joyce Chan — Cellist
A classically trained cellist with ensemble and chamber music experience, Joyce delivers warm, resonant tones that elevate ceremony entrances, cocktail sets, and intimate performances.
Angel Yau — Saxophonist
A saxophonist and music educator with classical foundations and ensemble experience. Angel brings a smooth, lyrical tone to ceremony and banquet settings, and remains active as a saxophone tutor.
Nelson — Guitarist
Rockschool Grade 8 Distinction guitarist with versatile live performance experience. Nelson adapts his tone and repertoire to ceremonies, receptions, and private celebrations with a warm, polished sound.
Miu Ka Ming — Drummer
A dynamic drummer with experience across jazz and pop ensembles, delivering tasteful grooves, precise cues, and a polished rhythmic foundation for premium weddings and corporate celebrations.
Karson Ying — Violinist
